A-Line skirt has a gentle, controlled flare and a 
bias-faced hem; Pencil skirt is ever-so-slightly 
tapered with a deep hem and a concealed back slit.

Shopping List

Sizes 6-8-10 needs around 1 yard of fabric 
(and lining if you’re using it) for both versions ; 
sizes 12-14-16-18 needs around 1 1/4 yards
of fabric (and lining if you’re using it) for both 
versions; and sizes 20-22-24-26 needs around
 1 1/2 yards of fabric (and lining if you’re using it) 
for both versions. 

All yardages are for 60” / 150 cm wide fabric. 

You will also need about 1/4 yard of interfacing, 
1 x 8” / 20 cm invisible zipper, and a hook & eye
 closure if you wish.
