A modern classic that you'll make and
wear forever, these gorgeous styles are
designed for firm dress weight fabrics like
heavy crepe, washed linen, heavy sueded
silk, drape-y rayon, supple real or faux suede
and lightweight denims.

Semi-fitted, slightly dropped waist Dress or Top
has center front & back seams, and an optional 
center back or side seam invisible zipper and lining. 

For the bodice, choose from a gently scooped jewel 
neckline with horizontal bust darts, or a shallow V-neck
with French darts, and add your choice of 3/4 or short
two-piece sleeves. Skirt is a gentle a-line, which finishes
just below the knee on the dress; the top finishes with a hip-length peplum.

Wear this super-cool dress for work, for the weekend 
or a fun night out; and try the top with your favorite jeans, 
a killer pencil skirt, or a slim or wide-leg straight-cut pant. 

Shopping List

For sizes 6-8-10-12-14-16 you’ll need around
2 yards/1.83m for the short sleeved dress, and
1 3/4 yards/ 1.62 m fabric for the 3/4 sleeved top; 
add the same amount in lining of you 
are lining your garment.

For sizes 18-20-22-24-26 you’ll need around 
2 3/8 yards / 2.18m fabric for the short sleeve dress, 
and 2 yards/ 1.83 m fabric for the 3/4 sleeved top; 
add the same amount in lining of you are lining your garment.

You’ll also need around ½ yard / 46 cm of fusible 
interfacing; a 22" or 55cm invisible zipper (for the 
center back) or a 16" or 40cm invisible zipper 
(for the side seams) are optional.

All fabric amounts are for 60”/150cm wide fabric.
