The perfect mix of comfy yoga-pant and chic
trouser, these are designed for fluid or drape-y
bottom-weight fabrics with at least 10% stretch,
like stretch twill, velvet, lightweight corduroy,
suiting, crepe, sateen, and stretch bengaline.
You can also choose a double knit with a little
body and stretch, like ponte, velour and stretch
velvet, French terry and sweatshirting...just
remember, the stretch part is non-negotiable!

Pull-on, elastic waist pants have front & back
topstitched Princess seams for a superior fit...
they are semi-fitted through the hips and upper
thigh, then g-e-n-t-l-y flare out to the hem.

front fly & drawstring at the waist, and the
sideseam front & back patch pockets, are optional.

These will be your new favorites for lounging at
home or running errands, but they’re also slick
enough to wear for casual workdays. Top them
with a cozy sweater; try a sweatshirt or hoodie
for a modern tracksuit; or team them with a
simple T and a soft cardigan or jacket.

Princess Seams on Pants always work!

Posted by Nothy Lane on 7th Jan 2019

I bought this pattern on whim and I am so glad that I did. It has princess seams - and this didn't mean much for me until I began making them - what a great way to fit pants! I don't know why more pants patterns don't use princess seams to get a great fit. This pattern is a fast sew and you can definitely make these in a few hours.
