HP 1224 DL Fast & Fabulous Chillaxing Hoodie

Chillax in this easy-to-make, fabulous-to-wear
hoodie, designed for medium-weight knits like 
ponte, French terry, fleece, firm sweater knits
sweatshirting, velour, boucle or double knits. 

Unlined, relaxed fit, open front hoodie has
bust darts cleverly rotated into the shoulder 
seams for a neat fit. Hoodie features optional
(but recommended!) patch pockets, plus rib
or self-fabric trimmed full-length three-piece 
sleeves & hemline, with a rounded front hem.
Hoodie has a center back seam & two-piece
hood; front can be worn open (wrong side of 
your fabric will show) or closed with snaps.  
     
This great piece is a year-round style; make
it in lightweight knits for cool summer nights, 
or try it in cozier knits for chilly weather. It’s
the perfect semi-casual top layer to soften a
tailored pants or skirt & sweater look, or try
wearing one in a luxe knit to dress up your
casual sweatpant-and-T-shirt outfits. This
wardrobe essential will also be perfect for 
travel, uncertain weather, or just chillaxing...

Shopping List

Sizes 6-8-10-12-14-16 will need around 2 ½ yards
or 230cm fabric; sizes18-20-22-24-26 will need 
around 3 yards or 275 cm fabric. 
If you want to interface and/or line your patch pockets, 
add a scrap of each, about 10” x 20” or 25cm x 50cm; 
if you’d like to use snaps to close your hoodie, 
you’ll need a pair of large ones-we used 1” or 2.5cm 
diameter snaps.
All fabric allowances are for 60” or 150cm wide fabrics.
