HP 1262 DL Last Minute Poncho Sweater

I sewed this from striped French terry and it's divine! As it's a raglan style top, it goes together very fast. One of the things I like best is the use of both rib knit trim (for neck and cuffs) and self- fabric bands. They make finishing this knit top super easy with professional results. I sewed a size 8 (my RTW size) but could have cut out a 6 in this one - it's oversized. Looks fabulous with leggings over a tee shirt or camisole. I didn't sew the cowl (it's spring now).

I love my new cape. This is my first HP download and it went together easily. i loved that it wasn't an excessive number of pages to print (i bought a dl pattern from another site and printed jt. It was over 120 pages. Never got anywhere beyond that!). Taped it together and cut the fabric out, one night. Made it the next. Love it. Beginner friendly.
